Certificate Programs

Currently, two sponsoring groups offer a "Master Planner Certificate Program." Each group sponsors The Course in Community Planning, The Course in Zoning, and The Course in Subdivision and Land Development Review on an annual basis. Students who take the three courses over a two year period earn the Master Planner Certificate.

The current Master Planner Certificate Program sponsors are:

The Center for Community Leadership of Berks County and the Berks County Planning Commission. For additional information contact John Kramer, (610) 921-7246.

Chester County 2020 Foundation, the Chester County Planning Commission, and West Chester University. For additional information contact William Stevens, (610) 696-3180.

NOTE: "Master Planner" is not a professional designation, and the certificate programs do not earn college credit. However, continuing education credits may be earned for any of the courses taken.
